COSMEBAR is a brand established in 2012 that harbors multiple signature pathways of industry venture.

Cosmebar Academy is an apprenticeship school where students called "apprentices" earn while they learn. We can take unlicensed talent and get them licensed and working within 90 days. After 39 hours of general education, students will receive a California State Apprentice License.
We are a California State Approved program for Barbers and Cosmetologists, and help prep upcoming professionals to train for the California State Board Examination.

The Process
​
Students will choose a salon or barbershop from our list of training centers, and submit a Cosmebar application to enroll. Once enrolled, students will come to class one day per week for 220 hours for theoretical and hands-on training, inclusive of State Board Training. The rest of the week, students will have hands-on practice, working on patrons known as "clients," "customers" or "guests", learning from your in-salon or barbershop trainer.

When your 3200 hours is completed, students will have vast industry knowledge, a clientele base, practical experience, a network of professionals, zero tuition balance, and a date to take the State Board Examination. If you are a talented go-getter, COSMEBAR is for YOU!
